Rwandan weekend update...

Just came across a sketchbook I brought with me to Rwanda... I quite like these pages with sketches of people I ran into along the way.

inkspots/silhouttes in my sketchbook...

Just playing around with the clear black outlines I expanded a bit, failed and covered it in black (i hate seeing drawings that don't turn out according to plan - just a way to make sure I can't learn by trial and error) and decided to play around with those shapes as silhouets, a great chance to simplify and see how much can be communicated with a semi-constructed ink-spots in my sketchbook...

Vakilisme...

With the upcoming collabo EP from Vakili and Mezian "Når alt kommer til alt" (sorry, only in Danish), which I did the artwork for (and feature on), I figured I'd put up the artwork for the last EP Vakilisme, which was released back in 2006, enjoy the sketches:

which also made the cover of the Danish magazine "Social Kritik" but was credited to the editor's girlfriend or something... And another piece from the final album.

By sheer coincidence I started this one on the 28th of February, the day before the eviction, numbers added subsequently (obviously). For the afficionado there are plenty of details to work out, enjoy.
